We will require a final count 14 days before your visit.
Numbers cannot be changed on the day of the visit, and no refunds will be issued due to no-shows of guests in your group.
There is no food or drink allowed in the Science Center. Please use the outdoor space included with admission.
We are unable to refrigerate any food items.
Payment must be received before your group may enter the science center. If payment is not received before your scheduled arrival date or on the day of the visit, the Monroe Science Center reserves the right to cancel your group visit, and the group rate will no longer apply.
All guests not paid for before the group’s arrival will be charged a general admission price of $10 each at check-in.
We currently take the following forms of payment: cash, all major credit cards, and checks.
We are now taking group visit reservations.
Daily group admission is limited. To help accommodate more groups, we are opening on Tuesdays for groups of 100 or more on a case-by-case basis.
Request Forms must be submitted at least two weeks before your requested visit date.
We offer discounted admission to groups purchasing 15 paid tickets or more. Groups must be booked in advance. Discounts for groups are not provided the day of or at the door.
Groups: $7 per person plus tax (minimum of 15 people).
Guests under 2 are free and do not count toward the minimum number of 15.
There must be a ratio of 1 Chaperone/Adult to no more than ten children. A chaperone must be prepared to enforce all Science Center rules, including Parent volunteers. Children must always be supervised while in the Science Center.
Extra guests will pay the full price of $10 plus tax at the door.
Once your group has arrived at the Science Center, please send ONE person to check in your group before unloading your students.
There is designated bus parking in our lower parking lot. Unless you have group members who require lifts or wheelchairs, please unload after parking and not directly in front of the main entrance.
A staff member will do a group greet to review the museum rules and expectations with your group members.
Please review the museum rules listed below with your group members before your visit. Groups violating any policies may be asked to leave depending on the severity of the situation.
At this time, you will be given the appropriate number of wristbands. No one will be admitted without a wristband. If you have extra guests who did not prepay, they will be required to pay the regular admission price.
If your group is not arriving together, please note that no one will be admitted until the contact/leader has checked the group in and received their wristbands for distribution.
