Birthday Party Package - $275 (plus tax)

Make your next birthday celebration a day to remember with a party at Monroe Science Center!

A birthday party at the Monroe Science Center includes:

  • 30 guests total (15 adults and 15 children, including the party family and birthday child)
  • Museum admission for party guests
  • One hour in a private party room
  • Assigned a cart for loading/unloading and storing belongings

Booking

Requests must be received at least two weeks before your desired date.

You must complete the Birthday Party request form and wait for a response via email. 

You will also be required to read the Birthday Party Room User Guidelines (PDF) and fill out the user agreement form. This form will be sent via email. You will not be allowed into the party room until you complete it.

Payments can be made by phone or in person, using cash, check, or card. Your party is not secured till payment and agreement are received. If payment is not made in 14 days, your reservation will be forfeited and may be reserved by other guests.

Party Times

A birthday party at the Monroe Science Center includes one hour in a private party room.

Party times can be booked Wednesday through Saturday in one of two time slots.

Time slots:

  • 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Other times may be available on a case-by-case basis.

Parties must be booked at least two weeks prior to the requested date.

Party Details

Party Guests

A Monroe Science Center birthday party includes up to 30 guests, including adults and children. Children cannot be dropped off without an adult responsible for them, and they must be supervised at all times while in the Science Center. There are no exceptions.

Due to capacity, additional guests cannot be accommodated in the party room, but you are welcome to purchase additional tickets for admission into the museum at the standard rate for anyone over the 30 included guests. Guests who do not have the appropriate colored Birthday Party Wristband will not be permitted into the party room.

Party guests have access to the Science Center all day. Instruct your guests to keep their wristbands on for re-entry.

Party Room

There will be 15 minutes to set up before the party starts and 15 minutes to clean up after.

The room has tables, chairs, a sink, and counter space.

Make the party space your own with table decorations such as centerpieces or tablecloths, plates, napkins, or party favors. These items are not included in the party package. Please do not use wall decorations.

Items not allowed in the party room include confetti, silly string, glitter, piñatas, and wall decorations.

Party Food and Beverages

Birthday families may bring a birthday cake, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, plates, napkins, cups, and other tableware, as these items are not included in the party package.

Please note: Alcoholic beverages are not allowed.

Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

Full payment is due at the time of party booking.

Cancellations must be received at least two weeks before a party date for a refund minus a $25 cancellation fee. 

Cancellations within two weeks of a party date will not be given a refund.
